PPTP SETUP

1. First go into system preferences then Network.

2. In the window listing your connections click the + button.

3. In the pop up set the interface to VPN, VPN Type to "PPTP" and Service Name to anything you want.

- For example Rendex VPN and then click the Create button.

4. Leave Configuration set to Default and enter the server IP address that was sent to you in the welcome email.

5. For account name enter your Username.

6. Click the "Authentication Settings" button.

7. Enter your Password and click OK.

8. Click Apply.

9. Click the "Advanced" button.

10. Tick "Send all traffic over VPN connection" and press "OK".

11. Click "Apply".

12. Tick "Show VPN status in the menu bar" and click "Connect".

13. Finished! You can easily Connect or Disconnect to the server from the menu bar.

L2TP SETUP

1. First go into system preferences then Network.

2. In the window listing your connections click the + button.

3. In the pop up set the interface to VPN, VPN Type to "L2TP over IPSec" and Service Name to anything you want.

- For example Rendex VPN and then click the Create button.

4. Leave Configuration set to Default and enter the server IP address that was sent to you in the welcome email.

5. For account name enter your Username.

6. Click the "Authentication Settings" button.

7. Enter your Password and enter the Pre-Shared Key that was sent to you in the welcome email in "Shared Secret" field.

8. Click Apply.

9. Click the "Advanced" button.

10. Tick "Send all traffic over VPN connection" and press "OK".

11. Click "Apply".

12. Tick "Show VPN status in the menu bar" and click "Connect".

13. Finished! You can easily Connect or Disconnect to the server from the menu bar.
