PPTP SETUP

1. First go into system preferences then Network.

2. In the window listing your connections click the + button.

3. In the pop up set the interface to VPN, VPN Type to "PPTP" and Service Name to anything you want.

- For example Rendex VPN and then click the Create button.

4. Leave Configuration set to Default and enter the server IP address that was sent to you in the welcome email.

5. For account name enter your Username.

6. For account password enter your Password.

7. Tick the Show VPN status in the menu bar box if it is not already done and click Apply.

8. Click "Advanced" button.

9. Under options, tick the Send all traffic over VPN connection button and click OK.

10. Click Apply and close system preferences.

11. Finished! Your VPN connection will now be available in the menu bar. Click Connect and use.

L2TP SETUP

1. First go into system preferences then Network.

2. In the window listing your connections click the + button.

3. In the pop up set the interface to VPN, VPN Type to "L2TP over IPSec" and Service Name to anything you want.

- For example Rendex VPN and then click the Create button.

4. Leave Configuration set to Default and enter the server IP address that was sent to you in the welcome email.

5. For account name enter your Username.

6. Click the "Authentication Settings" button.

7. For User Authentication enter your Password.

8. For Machine Authentication enter the Pre-Shared Key that was sent to you in the welcome email.

9. Tick the Show VPN status in the menu bar box if it is not already done and click Apply.

10. Click "Advanced" button.

11. Under options, tick the Send all traffic over VPN connection button and click OK.

12. Click Apply and close system preferences.

13. Finished! Your VPN connection will now be available in the menu bar. Click Connect and use.
